Tilly and Chris’s partnership began in 2007 when they met during boot camp at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, commonly know as “swab summer.” They forged an unbreakable bond during their time as cadets, as they overcame shared adversity, celebrated victories, and supported each other through thick and thin. Both college athletes, Tilly and Chris both spent most of their free time in their college’s athletic facility, Roland Hall, where they first hand witnessed each other’s dedication, work ethic, and team first mentality. They went on to serve as military officers together onboard USCGC SHERMAN (WHEC-720), where they often co-led search and rescue missions in the Bering Sea or maritime interdiction missions in the Eastern Pacific. While building complementary skill sets in their post-military careers, Tilly and Chris often discussed their dream of running a business together. Now, as they embark on their entrepreneurial journey together, their partnership is built upon an enduring foundation of trust, shared values, and a deep understanding of each other's strengths. With the support of their families, and the guidance of their mentors, Tilly and Chris decided to make their dream a reality and launch Roland Hall Partners.
